Charities 

Each year the CFWL chooses different Orlando-based charities on which to focus. Along with fundraising efforts on behalf of the chosen charities,League members interact with those charities to aid individuals and other community groups in need of assistance. Due to the amazing synergy of the League and its members, we have contributed more than $1,216,000 to various charities.

 

Charities Selected for 2013

The Russell Home for Atypical Children  - $30,000
To provide a van for emergency evacuation required by the state.

Matthew's Hope - $25,000
To provide temporary housing for homeless women and children.

ORMC Level I Trauma - $23,000
To provide a larangyscope with attached micro camera.

TransLife - $6,000
To provide a scholarship trip to Washington, D.C. for a donor family to attend seminars and be recognized for their gift.  Also being provided are four iPads for donor registration.

Edgewood Children's Ranch - $6,000
To provide a commercial oven
 

 

 Scholarships

The CFWL Foundation also sponsors scholarship awards for deserving high school students to assist with college tuition. The CFWL Foundation has donated more than $254,000 to students in the community.
